This servo tray enables you to mount high-performance, 1.2KG powerful and precise TGY-D56MG servos in the Dream-flight AHI and Weasel trek to reduce weight and utilize a single lipo direct supply. Warning: Turnigy indicates those servos are capable of handling 7.4v but I discovered that the maximum voltage you can provide is actually 8.0V, exceeding this will damage the servo. To safely supply power directly from two lipos, simply insert a low-cost 1n4001 or similar diode in series with the battery, reducing the voltage drop by 0.5 to 0.7 volts and ensuring proper operation. If you're using a Frsky telemetry receiver, you can adjust the offset voltage in the telemetry screen to obtain an accurate reading of the actual battery voltage. Have fun!
