Dreadroamers are notoriously hostile, scoundrelly beings who pillage the cosmos in commandeered armadas, slaughtering all life they encounter. Their marauding fleet typically comprises a motley assortment of rickety vessels seized from other civilizations. These captured ships often lie in disrepair and have been extensively reconfigured to suit the dreadroamer's gruesome tastes. They are a brutal, repulsive species whose physical appearance is marked by significant variation. They tend to be grotesque, troll-like creatures with non-symmetrical features, and have augmented their bodies with cybernetic enhancements for combat purposes. Due to their biology, severed limbs can regrow in mere days through existing obstacles, allowing them to integrate weapons and gear into their (somewhat humanoid) forms.
