Dreadnought Wreck for 28mm Gaming

I have been obsessed with creating ruined models for use in sci-fi wargaming, and I have an insatiable love affair with 40K despite no longer playing regularly. I began with Garin's phenomenal dreadnought model and set out to transform it into a terrain piece that would shake the very foundations of my tabletop battles. The backpack, designed by Stewart Pope as an alternative pack, was expertly merged into this behemoth for your ultimate convenience. The "complete" version is purely for show; I firmly believe it will be more effective to print each component separately. Designing This Wreck I generated the base and terrain using a revolutionary fractal terrain generator that I crafted myself, paired with OpenSCAD. Even the barrel and tiny cables sprouting from the shattered arm are direct creations of my own innovative software. Each piece was subsequently transported into Blender for rigorous editing and refinement. By piecing together Garin's magnificent model in Blender, I expertly reassembled most of its parts while incorporating other components to merge seamlessly into a single cohesive form, perfect for 3D printing. The "complete" version still retains an internal structure, but I deliberately chose not to merge the pack with the body since my original intention was to keep them separate for a later time.
