Dreadnought Fidget Spinner
cults3d
The Dreadnought is an all enclosed Fidget Spinner with optional 11mm or 14mm bearings. These bearings are smaller than standard types, measuring 5mm thick with a 5mm inner bore and varying diameters of either 11mm or 14mm. Refer to the .STL files for correct pairing. Standard M8 nuts serve as weights; Americans can easily convert sizes using online resources. The smaller bearings used in this design will not spin as long as typical 608 bearings, but their compact size makes them ideal for an all enclosed spinner with a visually striking appearance. Materials: 1. Printed Parts 2. 5mmx11mmx5mm Bearing or 5mmX14mmX5mm Bearing 3. M8 Nut (or Imperial Equivalent) 4. Glue (Super Glue works well) 5. Clamps Instructions: 1. Print the required parts. 2. Position nuts and bearing on one side of the spinner. 3. Apply glue to one side of the spinner, using Super Glue for optimal results. 4. Clamp the components together, ensuring a secure fit; multiple clamps are recommended, with one centered over the bearing and two additional clamps per side. 5. Apply a small amount of glue to the end of one bearing handle. 6. Carefully insert the handles into the spinner's center, taking care not to contaminate the bearing with glue. 7. Clamp the handles together, ensuring they remain straight; once dry, the assembly is complete.
