Dreadnok Air Skiff (GI Joe)
thingiverse
The Dreadnok Air Skiff from 1987. It's not my favorite model, but I believe the world needs more pirates. \r\n\r\nThis model is designed at full scale but optimized for printing at 25%. If you stray from that range, your print may end up with too much or too little detail. My completed model weighs just 1 gram, which cost me about two cents to print.\r\n\r\nThis file can be freely downloaded, but note that it's listed as non-commercial because I don't own the intellectual property rights. As such, neither you nor I are allowed to sell physical copies of this 3-D model. You're welcome (and encouraged) to print copies for your personal use, with "makes" appreciated.\r\n\r\nBy now, you can likely figure out how to print these models. Print the "show" side up whenever possible and add supports as needed. The guns are printed so their barrels are parallel to the build plate, providing greater strength. I also wanted the model to be easy to paint, which is why the fan is a separate piece.\r\n\r\nI want to express my respect and gratitude to past and present members of our Armed Forces. You are the "Real American Heroes" whose sacrifice allows people like me to live in peace, freedom, and create silly little toys like these.
