The DRBO drawing robot is designed to work with the software at http://www.polargraph.co.uk/. Due to licensing and community concerns, the associated files have been removed; however, you can find them on GitHub. The robot's design features laser-cut parts and off-the-shelf components since a 3D printer isn't available. If DIY is not your forte, kits with all hardware and electronics are also sold by the creator. The Bill of Materials (B.O.M.) includes an Arduino UNO, Adafruit Motor Shield, two 1.8deg/step stepper motors, lengths of thread/wire, four self-adhesive magnets, a DC jack, a small extension spring, a 30mm circle of grip tape, a mini servo, assorted machine screws and nuts, washers, plastic rivets, nylon spacers, and various bolts, nuts, and connectors. A USB A-B cable is also required. For assembly instructions, refer to the flickr set at http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuartchilds/sets/72157631436075130/ or on the creator's website at http://stuartchilds.com/drbo/.
