This is a clever mechanism that ensures the internal drawer extends smoothly out from behind the exterior front panel. Adjustments may be necessary to accommodate your unique kitchen setup, and the FreeCAD designs are provided for this purpose. Update 19-05-2020: Unfortunately, long-term performance of this design falls short due to plastic deformation over time. After several weeks of use, the material loses its original shape and fails to securely latch the drawer in place.
