Greetings everyone, here's my submission! The laser line system works like this: when the laser is broken due to an oversized object or growing item in a drawer, the solenoid activates and lifts the lock, allowing the drawer to open but not close. It resembles a cable tie mechanism. This method can be integrated into any existing drawer by installing a module on one side and a mirror strip on the other. I've also made some improvements: now, the lock and sensors are separate with wires passing through holes in the back, enabling users to place the lock wherever they prefer. Additionally, the laser is positioned in one corner, while the receiver is placed in another, allowing the laser beam to bounce multiple times for better accuracy. Lastly, all components are now independent and can be placed on either the inside or outside of any drawer, following suggestions received. I hope you find this useful!
