Drawer / Cabinet Pull Handle

Drawer / Cabinet Pull Handle

thingiverse

This is a basic drawer pull handle, crafted to be mounted like power strips and other devices where the unit presses onto a screw and then glides over (or down) to secure it in place. It's designed for use with standard wood screws. A clever trick for aligning the screws is to lay a sheet of paper over the base of the handle, and using the side of a pencil, rub the entire area of the paper covering the handle - just like making a tombstone rubbing. This leaves an imprint of the mounting holes on the paper. You can then use that as a template to mount the two screws so each one lines up with the smaller end of the opening. If you line the screws up with the larger end instead, when you mount the handle and slide it in place, it will be over about an inch or so from where you actually wanted it. Don't thread the screws all the way in, obviously. You'll have to find the proper depth by trial and error. Snug each screw down slightly, test fitting the handle each time. The goal is for the handle to slide into place, but not so easily that it will just slide right back off. --- **NOTE** * Due to a Thingiverse glitch or (more likely) shadowbanning, my models no longer appear under the [Newest] listings.
