Drawer / Cabinet Pull Handle
cults3d
This is a simple drawer pull handle, but it's specifically designed for mounting in the same way as power strips and other devices where the unit pushes onto a screw and then slides over - or down - to lock it firmly into place. It's sized for use with standard wood screws. A useful technique for lining up the screws is to lay a sheet of paper over the base of the handle, and using the side of a pencil, rub the entire area of the paper covering the handle. This will leave an imprint of the mounting holes on the paper. You can then use that as a template to mount the two screws so each one lines up with the smaller end of the opening. If you line the screws up with the larger end instead, when you mount the handle and slide it into place, it will be about an inch or so from where you actually want it. Don't thread the screws all the way in, obviously. You'll have to find the proper depth by trial and error. Tighten each screw down slightly, test-fitting the handle each time. The handle should slide into place but not so easily that it will just slide right back off.
