Drawer Brackets

Replace the damaged plastic brackets with these on a dresser drawer. The trapezoid piece attaches to the front of the dresser's channel. Screw the channel into the back of the dresser. A block-shaped piece holds the channel at the rear end of the drawer. Secure the drawer channel directly in front of the drawer using screws. This combination ensures that the drawer won't tip over when pulled out. Print one copy of these instructions. For the trapezoid piece, I used 80% fill for strength and 40% fill for the block as it is already quite strong. Fine Z resolution isn't necessary since no one will see these parts. If needed, file down the trapezoid piece to fit snugly in the channel. Attach the front edge of the channel to the drawer using the trapezoid piece. Secure the channel at the back end of the drawer with the block piece. Note that the drawer channel extends 1 cm over the drawer bottom and is secured by the block, screwed onto the front of the drawer. Ensure that the channels fit together correctly; if not, file as needed for a snug fit.
