Drawer and cabinet knob

I had this amazing custom-made cabinet in the kids' room that held up perfectly for six years until one thing started to go terribly wrong: those stubborn knobs designed by the carpenter would continuously get loose and break. It wasn't just that they were coming undone, but also that they lacked style.\nAs time passed, we found ourselves putting up with it for too long, tolerating knobs falling apart at alarming rates, and revealing exposed screws - a worrisome situation in an area designed for our kids to play freely. But that all changed months after acquiring my Afinia when it dawned on me: I can easily create custom ABS plastic knobs!\nThree trials were required until the third attempt succeeded beautifully. When done correctly, one could securely fasten it onto a standard wood screw in such a manner that it snugly gripped, making any loosening of the screw an impossible task.\nAs luck would have it, the colours produced were perfectly consistent with the cabinet's design hues, prompting me to create replicas in each available colour, culminating in nothing short of absolute perfection!\nThat was the first time when my DIY 3D printing solution completely trumped a comparable item from a store! (at least, this was true for myself)
