Drawdio
thingiverse
Drawdio, an open source project created by Jay Silver, transforms drawing into sound by utilizing graphite's conductivity and the interconnected touch through a conductive human body. The sound produced is dependent on resistance between pencil point and finger tip. Our objective is to refine this design by reducing electrical component scale and housing it while preserving creativity for further iterations. Introducing digital manufacturing with milled PCB boards and 3D printing is our contribution. Visit http://opendesignprojectwgtn.blogspot.co.nz for more information about our design process, or check out the tutorial blog at http://tutorialdrawdio.blogspot.co.nz for full instructions.
