DrawBot Motor Mounts
thingiverse
In my recent DrawBot project update, I showcased motor mounts designed for use within a box at each corner. These mounts have been inspired by Sandy Noble's polargraph and are specifically constructed to ensure that the motor shaft points towards the wall. This design allows for efficient spooling and unspooling of filament near the wall, helping maintain the pen against it. The mount includes a hole underneath the motor shaft for monofilament line passage. Moreover, these mounts are reversible in design for flexibility. The designs are mainly parametric for ease of customization. For installation, simply print, attach motors to the mounts, and securely fix the mounts at desired locations.
