Draped Woman at The Louvre, Paris

At the end of the 18th Century, a figurative statue stood proudly displayed in the spacious villa Borghese, Rome, forming a striking pair with another statue of comparable style (MR 68, also showcased on Scan the World) which can be found in the same room, the Apollo Gallery, at The Louvre. The antique body was an Roman adaptation of the renowned sculpture 'The Little Herculanaise'.
