The Drakh Raider from the Babylon 5 TV show is a formidable vessel that has undergone changes throughout its depiction on the series. To account for these variations, an entry was made to allow scaling for both the Light and Heavy raider versions. Light Raider Description: Sa'rira'stor, 'Hungry Fish'. Developed during the last great war, the Light Raider is a smaller version of the Heavy Raider. The younger races employed large fleets of fighters to overwhelm Shadow ships, but most Shadow vessels can only track and destroy one ship at a time. Based on the Shadow template, the Heavy Raiders share this limitation. Heavy Raider Description: Ria'stor, 'predatory fish native to Draas'. The Drakh never had the resources or manpower to justify developing fighters. Instead, they focused on building large, heavily-armed vessels that could counter enemy swarms. The Drakh knew their enemies would always outnumber them, so they prioritized brute force.
