I designed this advanced sink drain because I was thoroughly dissatisfied with the ones I purchased at a hardware store. These are engineered to handle higher water flow rates. I built them for a 37mm drain, but they should be adaptable for larger drains as well. There are two versions: one features deeper slots - this requires less support structure. These units are perfect for a 37mm drain. I bought some from a hardware store initially, but unfortunately, their water flow was so poor that I decided to build my own. These ones perform significantly better. Two versions exist: the model with minimal support has deeper slits.
