Drain Snake Extended

Loved GaryJSmith's Drain Snake, but had to reach deeper into my pipes than his model could manage. Quickly hacked together an extension piece, thinner than the original so it can twist and turn inside the pipe without getting stuck. Loop the heels around both sides of the hole for added security when pulling out of the drain. Taping the joint also helps ensure the pieces push down the drain in the first place.
