Drain Reduction and Enclosure
cults3d
Hi Folks, Some time ago I had this nasty drain pipe in my Server Room at work where the Cooling Unit's tubes were installed to get rid of condensation. So I decided to improve the non-existent Plan and designed a 8-Pieces Drain Enclosure which will fit and keep in Place the Tubes from the Cooling Unit. I printed the "Drain Base Plate - V2" twice and glued it together, It fit perfectly to a standard European Drain Tube. Further I cut some M3 threads into the foreseen holes to easily attach "Tube Fixation" Part to it. The "Tube Fixation" Piece is needed 4 Times. there are holes foreseen to fix these Parts for the Base Plate as well as to interconnect the Parts to each other. To do so, I used some M3 threaded rod with self closing nuts on each side. The "Drain Enclosure" is needed 2 Times again. It may make sense to cover the inside with smooth foam. That way you will get a better tightness. Maybe the Pictures explain it better :-) Have Fun Guys!
