Drain Reduction and Enclosure
thingiverse
Hi Folks, I had a major issue with my Server Room drain pipe a while back, where the Cooling Unit's tubes were prone to condensation buildup. So I decided to create a solid Plan and designed an 8-Piece Drain Enclosure that would fit snugly around the Tubes from the Cooling Unit. I printed the "Drain Base Plate - V2" twice and assembled them together, ensuring a perfect fit with standard European drain tubes. Next, I drilled M3 threads into the designated holes to easily attach the "Tube Fixation" parts. The "Tube Fixation" piece is required four times, and it features holes for securing it to the base plate as well as connecting multiple parts together. To do this, I used M3 threaded rod with self-locking nuts on either side. I also needed two "Drain Enclosure" pieces, which can be beneficial to cover with smooth foam for improved tightness. Maybe the accompanying pictures will provide a clearer understanding of my project.
