This cap can be easily installed inside your bathroom floor drain to prevent unpleasant odors from the sewer.\r\nIt features a valve that opens when showering due to water pressure, but closes automatically when there's no water flowing.\r\n\r\nI designed this for my own home, which has old drains without proper water traps and often experiences unwelcome smells rising up from the drains.\r\n\r\nPost-Print Instructions:\r\nThere are two main components: one is the valve, while the other is the body that fits into the drain.\r\nTo assemble them, simply compress the body and insert the valve into its designated holes.\r\nI had to use sandpaper to smooth out the counterweight and the body's interior for a smoother operation.\r\nPrinting at 0.3 layer height resulted in a slightly rough finish, but using higher resolutions like 0.2 or 0.1 should produce a silky-smooth result with no need for sanding.\r\nEnjoy your odor-free bathroom experience, just as I do now!\r\nThree-dimensional printing is an incredible technology - I'm excited to create even more innovative designs.
