Drain Hair Collector
thingiverse
I'm testing out my design for a shower drain hair collector and I'm excited about how it's shaping up so far. Of course, there are some improvements I'd like to make before I send this off to be printed, but overall it looks like a solid prototype. The best part is that it will save me money in the long run by catching all the hair that would otherwise clog my drain and require expensive products like Draino to clean up. A similar product at Home Depot costs $6.97, but this 29.3 meter print will only set me back $3.10 - a significant savings. At present, it takes about 7 hours to print out the design, so I'm on the lookout for ways to speed that process along.
