Drain Cover
pinshape
I designed and printed my own custom drain cover after struggling to find one that fit perfectly at the local hardware and plumbing stores. It's been incredibly effective at keeping leaves out of my garage drain, and I much prefer the vibrant blue color over the dull off-white finish. Instructions are surprisingly straightforward - simply input variables into OpenSCAD and let it do its magic. The program allows you to customize various settings such as the radius, depth, and lip dimensions of your drain cover. This means you can create a perfectly tailored fit for your specific needs. At present, my design features a 40mm radius and a 3mm lip, with the radius referring to the overall size and the insertable part being defined by subtracting the lip from the total radius in OpenSCAD.
