DragonLink MicroRX Saddle Mount
thingiverse
One thing that has always gotten under my skin is the fact that radio receiver and ESC manufacturers never seem to include mount holes or tabs on their board components. This leaves us hobbyists scrambling to come up with a way to mount them safely, securely, and with adequate cooling. The DragonLink MicroRX is one such board component that stands out as an exceptional Long Range receiver, but mounting it is often poorly done due to its irregular surfaces. This is where this simple 3D print comes in - to alleviate this problem. The receiver simply sits in a saddle, held securely and safely in place by two small rubber bands. The saddle can then be attached to a flat clean surface using small flat head screws or your favorite servo tape product. I print this piece with the following support settings in Cura: Support Type: Touching Bed Platform: Grid Overhang Angle: 70 degrees Fill Amount: 28% Happy flying!
