Main Concept: DragonFly is a personal project centered around a multi-purpose drone that can tackle various tasks. Measuring 3.2 meters in height, it offers three primary operating modes: AI control, remote operation, and manual piloting by a skilled driver. The quad articulated helix system enables the DragonFly to achieve exceptional agility and speed capabilities. The drone is also equipped with a ground locomotion system that significantly enhances its landing performance, thanks to a high-pressure suspension system. This innovative feature ensures stable and controlled landings, even in challenging environments. Technical Information: - Body: 16,772 faces, with a high-poly count of 4096x4096 for detailed textures including Albedo, Spec, Gloss, Occ, and Norm maps. - Articulations: Similar to the body, the articulation system boasts a high-poly count of 4096x4096 for intricate details, complete with Albedo, Spec, Gloss, Occ, and Norm maps. - Helix: The quad articulated helix system features detailed textures with a resolution of 4096x4096, including Albedo, Spec, Gloss, Occ, and Norm maps. - Hatch: The hatch area is rendered in high detail with a texture size of 1024x1024, complete with Albedo, Spec, Gloss, Occ, and Norm maps. Softwares Used: The creation of the DragonFly model involved utilizing a range of professional software tools, including Autodesk Maya for modeling and animation, XNormal for normal mapping, Photoshop for texture manipulation, FaoGen for procedural texturing, and Quixel Suite for high-poly texturing and detailing.
