Here are some sweet treasures from the iconic 8-bit NES game Dragon Warrior, also known as Dragon Quest in Japan during that era. I've printed out some of them, and they turned out fantastic. They're approximately 1.25 inches on average, making them perfect for fridge magnets. Simply attach a magnet to the back, and you're good to go! Update: I've added the old man and landscape tiles to the collection.
