Dragon on Broken Tower - Beer Tap Handle

Dragon on Broken Tower - Beer Tap Handle

Here is a second tap handle featuring the dragon and tower from the original thing: 1010252. In this one, the top of the tower is crumbling, and the dragon is trying to stabilize the shield so it doesn't fall. The tap handle measures just shy of seven inches tall, three inches wide, and two and a half inches deep. I found it to be much easier to print in two parts, cut in half just below the shield. Like the original tap handle, this uses brass threaded fittings which can be found here on Amazon.com/E-Z Threaded Insert Internal Threads/dp/B0026GZU0Q/ref=pd_bia_nav_t_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1N5V76Q1G5MT4JBV9DSY. Printed in two parts, the bottom piece prints easier if turned upside-down, but will still need a little support for the dragon's body. The top piece was printed with full support generated from Meshmixer. I printed in ABS and used an ABS+acetone slurry to glue parts together, touch up the print afterwards, and soften up the threading region to accept the brass fitting.
