First off thanks to Pampasnet & Bozzman for the dragon and flame rendering. I really liked his light, but I wanted to have something better than a static light. To solve this I bought one of the LED flame lights from Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V34728C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I chose this one for its size and that it would alter the flame direction based on orientation. To take the flame light apart, I used a hacksaw and carefully cut around the base of the translucent plastic. You may be able to get the glue to let go and pull the light apart, I was able to do this after cutting the plastic. Once you get to the internal components. remove the small screws (Save them for later) and remove the circuit board. Next, remove the battery. The battery is glued in, so it took a bit of wiggling and pulling to free it. If you want the flame to look like it is flowing from the dragon, You need to perform this modification to the circuit board. In the photos I've marked the orientation sensor, you can desolder it, and short the two pads together, or if you want just short the two pins for the sensor together. This will make the light start the flame at the top of the LED tube. I modified the flame cone (Dragon_lamp_-_fire-1) to put a hole in the base that will hold the flame LED. Note I did notch the hole to clear the crystal on top of the circuit board. (See photo) I also created the battery bottom to cover the circuit board and hold the battery. this part has 9 little stands, that I put drops of super glue to hold it onto the flame cone. For printing, I used gold silk PLA for the dragon and white PLA (With a 1.0mm nozzle) for the flame cone. Note the flame cone is printed in spiral mode with the bottom. I printed the wings laying upsidedown on the build plate (With the claws pointing up) and with supports. the vertical orientation would fail on me about halfway up as there is very little surface area to hold the print to the build plate.
