Reinventing the human form has long fascinated scientists and engineers alike, drawing inspiration from the most iconic creatures of cinema's greatest hits. The Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time to eliminate John Connor, is often cited as one of the earliest examples of human-like robotics. However, it was the more recent movie franchise, Alien, that truly pushed the boundaries of human creation.
