My ongoing romance with Robwzor's GlowaSmoka continues unbroken. I yearned for my Zortrax M200 to boast a majestic dragon figurehead, but dreaded it might obstruct the crucial temperature-indicating light from my trusty Z-Temp sensor. To mitigate this concern, I took the bold step of printing the extruder cover in Taulman Blu-Print, which boasts remarkable transparency, effortless support removal, and an elegant silvery finish. I intentionally printed it without any infill to ensure maximum light transmission and a significant weight reduction. Exploring its color-shifting abilities on startup: https://youtu.be/o--cryzHawg Printing at approximately 215°C yields spectacular results: https://youtu.be/Uzsbo2IqCjI Key Print Settings Printer: Zortrax M200 Rafts: Enabled with caution, for maximum stability Supports: Constructed to facilitate precise shaping and easy removal Resolution: Set at an exacting 290 microns, guaranteeing outstanding clarity Infill: Opted for "Light" to balance quality with efficiency and a reduced weight footprint. Important Notes: A specially tailored zcode file is attached, expertly crafted using the Z-ABS profile (adjusted temperature set to 265°C in conjunction with the intuitive Z-Temp), "high" speed printing, a moderate fan speed of 30° ("light"), and 60% output. Normal seam settings and "Mesh" infill ensured a hollow structure, ideal for retaining maximum transparency and minimizing weight while still showcasing Robwzor's artistic masterpiece.
