Dragon egg on pedestal

I'm currently printing a cool dragon egg that's going to sit atop a pedestal, and I'm excited to share it with you all! The pedestal itself is being crafted out of wood PLA for its unique look and feel, while the egg is being made from carbon fiber for an extra layer of texture. Rest assured, neither material is necessary for structural integrity - plain plastic would do just fine in that regard. What's really cool about this project is how I managed to achieve a two-color effect by pausing the print mid-layer on the pedestal and swapping out the filament. It's going to be a real showstopper when it's all done! Keep an eye out for pictures of the finished product, which will be uploaded within the next 48 hours.
