Hi! I've created a generator for 'Dragon/Alien Eggs' that can be used as containers for small items. This is just one of many experiments based on Phyllotaxis algorithms, and I plan to publish more interesting projects related to this soon. This customizable figure allows you to create unique designs by playing with the Customizer and finding your favorite settings. Every customization produces four files: Complete sphere Upper semisphere Lower semisphere Screw to join the semispheres Print the two semispheres, screw, and you'll have a container ready. The semispheres are also perfect for planters. You can use the complete sphere as desired - even print a dragon inside while creating it and get a real egg! Have fun! I encourage you to download and modify the OpenScad code. The Customizer has some restrictions, but working with the code allows you to create many variations. This project uses a modified Poor Mans Screw Library for the screw and nuts, as well as a cute dragon model from bs3: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/cute-dragon in pictures.
