Dragon Egg box Chi
thingiverse
Added slimmer mid rings for an easier fit. Needs some post-processing or re-mixing. Requires cleaning with a knife after printing. Insert the screw into the mid ring and twist it a few times so it's securely in place. If it gets stuck, push the ring against a non-slippery surface like concrete and twist. This holds it firmly and evenly. With the mid ring installed on top, apply cyanoacrylate (superglue) to secure it to the bottom. Before it dries, turn the top clockwise until the patterns align on both the top and bottom. This way, they'll match when the egg is closed. It works at various scales too - I've successfully printed one at 40% of the original size. I'm including a solid egg file for anyone who wants to improve the opening and closing mechanism.
