Dragon Door Statue - MoP Expansion, World of Warcraft (WOW)

I extracted this Dragon Door Statue from various temples in Pandaria using WoW Model Viewer and cleaned it up with 3D Builder and Meshmixer. The goal was to see how well it would print out of an STL file, since many items can be downloaded from WoW but are tricky to print. Printing with Silk Copper PLA at 220C gave the statue a nice shine that I really like. However, printing in this material requires minimal support structures, as they leave marks on the surface. In my case, there were three small fan blades at the tip of the tail that I had trouble removing, but post-processing fixed the issue. The statue stands 8 cm tall and is a great example of what can be achieved with 3D printing from WoW models.
