Dragon Curve Mosaic

The Dragon Curve is a visual representation of what happens when you fold a piece of paper in half over and over again, checking out the videos below to learn more. A Numberphile video showed a mathematician who created custom tiles to display the curve on his wall, which inspired our Thingiverse Thursday design. Our design uses only three models: an end piece, a single piece, and a double piece. These pieces can be carefully arranged together to create the Dragon Curve of any order of magnitude. We ordered nine for our mural, matching the number of times you would fold a paper to achieve that level of complexity. Check out the result! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCyC-K_PnRY
