This tap handle features a dragon proudly displayed perched atop a small tower, holding a shield emblazoned with your brewery's name in one of his mighty claws. A mug clutches his other claw. The full length of this majestic design measures nearly 9 inches tall, just 2 inches wide, and a solid 2.5 inches deep. Instructions to Get You Started We've included several tap handle models for your convenience. You can easily customize this item by using one of these options. Some notes: This uses brass thread fittings that can be purchased on Amazon. We've also provided a hole-free version for you to use if desired. Our tap handle was printed in ABS, and we highly recommend using leftover supports or scraps and melting them down in acetone inside a sealed glass jar to create a wonderful glue material. We included manual supports for the dragon's head and right arm since our computer couldn't get those areas right with meshmixer's generator. There are versions without any supports as well, along with one that's fully supported – perfect for your slicing software. Keep in mind that the top piece measures 7.5 inches tall, which may be a tight squeeze in most build areas without breaking up the model. First, print out just the bottom portion, which won't need any supports whatsoever. Then attach a brass threaded insert into the textured interior by melting it with our ABS slurry so the threading conforms perfectly. Ensure it goes in straight for an optimal connection. Finally, attach your top piece, made possible after 9 grueling hours of iteration through numerous print failures – all of which led us to refine this fantastic tap handle model further. Now cut away those supports and bond them together using ABS slurry for a sturdy seal.
