The Dragon spacecraft, designed by SpaceX in California, achieved firsts during its maiden flight in December 2010 - becoming the initial commercially-built and retrieved spacecraft from orbit. On May 25, 2012, an uncrewed version of Dragon made history as the first commercial spacecraft to successfully rendezvous with the International Space Station. The model was constructed using nearly twenty photo references, is pre-subdivided, and comprises several parts including capsule, trunk, and solar array.
