Drag knife holder for MPCNC
thingiverse
**UPDATE:** This is likely a flawed design since it removes the blade-length limitation feature from the holder housing. This Roland-style drag-knife holder mount is designed for the Mostly Printed CNC. A plastic spring is used to press down on the tension button at the top of the holder, providing necessary pressure. The part can be printed in ABS or customized to increase tension by making the spring thicker, or printing it in PLA instead. The strap uses M3 screws for attachment. This design prints in two main sections that can be joined together using a small wood screw. However, before assembly, M3 nuts should be inserted into their respective nut traps to facilitate easier joining. Failing to do so will make the process significantly more difficult.
