Drag knife holder for chinese CNC
thingiverse
This is a simple drag knife holder for Roland-type drag knife head. Apart from the attached stl files for 3D printing, you will need several parts to complete the build: a 1mm x 18mm x 40mm compression spring (you can find an example on eBay), two 6mm x 70mm linear rods (available on Aliexpress), and two LM6UU 6mm x 12mm x 19mm linear bearings (also available on Aliexpress). You will also need a Roland-style drag knife head, which can be found online. In addition to these parts, you will need three pairs of M4x16 screw and nut. To assemble the holder, you may need a small hammer to push the rods into place in the plastic parts. The small ring is used to hold the top side of the spring; use super-glue to attach it under the top plastic part.
