Drag Knife for MPCNC 6-32 Tool Mount
thingiverse
This is an updated version of FarFlyer's design, tailored specifically for the MPCNC tool mount featuring 6-32 screws. However, using 4mm screws might also work. <Original Description by FarFlyer > Update: December 3rd, 2016 - Increased space for universal mount. I've reworked the original drag knife from onasiis to fit the universal mount of the MPCNC perfectly. To get started, you'll need: *2x 608Z bearings *2x M3 screws for the blade holder *4x M4 screws and nuts for the two parts of the body The round shaft should snugly fit inside the bearings. To ensure a tight fit, sand down the shaft until it fits comfortably within the bearings. Be cautious not to sand too much, as this might cause the part holding the blade to fall out from the bearings. M3 screws don't require nuts, as they'll fit directly into the rotor part's holes. I've also increased the space between the two holes, allowing you to loosen only the right screw when removing the blade, while keeping the left screw tightened. Please note that the uploaded files differ slightly from those in the pictures. I made some minor improvements but didn't reprint them. If you spot any issues, don't hesitate to let me know. Future plans include designing a protective blade cover for added safety when time allows.
