drag chain upgrade

thingiverse

I very much appreciate this drag chain design, but I wanted greater durability and resistance to back bending. So, this remix increases the side panel section by 2mm. The increase has minimal impact on print time and cost but makes the chain significantly more durable and reduces the "wrong" bend potential greatly. I have assigned color and inside/outside labels to the file names for clarity. White represents outside, with a cross-bar located on the outside of the bend. Black represents inside, with a cross-bar situated on the inside of the bend. I highly recommend using different colors for the pieces since it's challenging to distinguish between them. I printed this design with the following settings: ABS material, 260/120 speed, and no supports. This remix was designed to maintain full compatibility with the original design, allowing me to freely inter-mix the older and newer designs without any penalties. The picture showcases a mixed chain consisting of both old and new parts, interlinked and fully functional.
