Drag Chain HD ends
thingiverse
I designed Drag Chain HD links for my Root CNC build but required ends with the necessary mounting holes. I inserted the link STL into Tinkercad, deleted the parts I didn't need and added a tab with the right holes. You'll see two options for each. The two options have the holes in different orientations. The female parts also include inverted versions in case you need to mount it upside down. The male version can be mounted upside down as is. Update March 31, 2017 - Added three more versions without holes. If the existing hole patterns don't work for you, print these with 100% infill then drill the holes that suit your installation. Print Settings Printer: Trinus 3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 50% Notes: I printed these and the links without supports to save on cleanup. With the right print settings and good cooling, the bridge isn't really that bad. Maybe just a little sanding with an emery board on the underside of the bridge.
