This cable chain prints neatly at 32mm X 40mm externally with 19mm X 11.5mm clearance internally. Designed for larger projects, such as CNC routers, this fully enclosed model is ideal for jobs where mounting sideways over open space is a must. MATERIALS & SETTINGS: This part works well when printed using PLA, but for easy assembly, I recommend PET or ABS materials. To speed up print time on my CNC router, I used a 250 micron layer height in ABS. If your nozzle can handle it, printing between 200 and 300 micron ensures strong layer bonding. ASSEMBLY: Chains printed from ABS or PET assemble easily by snapping the links together. For chains made from PLA, gently warm each pair of links with a hair dryer before assembly to ensure flexibility and avoid breaking links or scraping fingers.
