Drag Chain Angle Bracket with GX-16 Connectors
thingiverse
A modification to integrate GX-16 panel mount connectors into the drag chain support bracket's design. One option is to use a single GX-16 connector to link the drag chain and the original bracket from twlum at one end, or you can utilize these connectors to also connect the steppers with double mounts on the other. I aimed to connect my steppers using GX connectors since they are rated for 1.4A, while JST SH connectors are only rated for 1.0A. A GX-16-8 connector can power the Z stepper with four conductors and then have four left over, which could be used for a DC spindle or a Z+ endstop, or even two for a laser. You get the idea. Two GX-16-8s on the drag chain end can power the near-side X stepper, the Z stepper, and still have eight conductors left over for any additional needs. For instance, an extruder stepper, hotend heater, and cooling fan could be powered using these connectors. Again, you get the idea - whatever you want. On the double mounts, the nut will be close to the angle's vertical leg, so a mitered cut or clearance notch can provide extra space, or simply align the nut with a flat surface vertically and it should clear without issues. I didn't want to make it wider than necessary.
