Drag Chain

When searching for a drag chain design to print, I found existing options lacking, so I created my own, with speed and simplicity as its main goals, eliminating the need for supports during printing. This design was created in OnShape, and you can download it here to make your own custom ends: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/56c5c5c3e4b01d512564df73/w/d90b2b51e0812ba5d3929380 Print Settings: * Printer: CTC 3D Printer * Rafts: Not necessary * Supports: None required * Resolution: 0.3mm layer thickness * Infill: 0% infill for lightweight prints Notes: This design has been tested with a 0.4mm nozzle. Post-Printing: To ensure the first layer adheres well, I added a raft to the print settings. Design Approach: I designed this drag chain in OnShape, focusing on creating a sleek and efficient design that eliminates the need for supports during printing. The angular roof allows parts to snap together easily, while also incorporating grooves that enable flexibility without causing damage.
