Originating from my former drafting class's compass, this item dates back roughly 45 years; it hails from an era when drawings were exclusively done on paper and computer-aided design (CAD) was merely a figment of imagination. I later enhanced the design with additional details in another illustration. One leg is divided midway for attaching accessories such as pen ends.
