To resolve uneven cooling issues with larger prints on my MakerBot, I created four stand-holders that securely place a 3mm cardboard screen around the build platform. The 74cm x 18cm cardboard size worked well for me. Position the corner and end stands, insert into the printer, and enjoy worry-free large prints. For smaller prints or platform cleaning, simply remove the cardboard screen.
