This vacuum plate is designed with built-in ventilation to extract most of the airflow from the router. It features slots that allow for easy installation and removal of brush strips, enabling users to switch between different lengths as needed. A dedicated hole accepts a standard 1-1/4" vacuum hose fitting, which I secure in place using a reliable hose clamp. The brush strips themselves come from McMaster-Carr and are specifically the Easy-Cut Strip Brushes, renowned for their excellent performance and flexibility. When combined with my trusty Makita 1/4" trim router, this setup delivers outstanding results every time.
