In the Manhattan Makerbot store on 29th January 2014, a photobooth scan captured a print made using ColorFabb CopperFill (http://www.matterhackers.com/store/3d-printer-filament/colorfabb-copperfill-metal-filament-1.75mm) filament. The patina was achieved through a series of steps, including light wire-brushing and sanding, followed by steel wool treatment. A polish with Brasso came next, followed by the application of black paint into cracks and recesses, which was then immediately wiped off. Further polishing with Brasso ensured a detailed finish, and leaving the Brasso on to create a green tarnished effect mimicking bird droppings.
