The computer-imagined father, known as "Animated 3D Model DadWalk", is a 3D model that mimics the motion of a real dad walking. This animated character was created over a span of 62 consecutive frames. To give this digital character its appearance, several different textures were included: 1) Diffuse (_D): This texture represents how light would react if it came into contact with various surfaces in our everyday world - something as dull and common as skin or the worn fabric of clothing can produce very little light. 2) Specular (_S): Specularity refers to how shiny or glossy a surface appears, like when you splash some water onto its face - it creates lots of glare everywhere. 3) Bump (_B): This texture maps an image's surface features so accurately that it even has some three-dimensional aspects - making it seem like bumps and dents are protruding right out at us! 4) Normal (_N): A normal map takes the complex data of real-world geometry and translates them into pixels that simulate these bumps, cracks, etc., which would normally not be there if you simply painted everything with flat colours.
